Audiobooks from your OneDrive

Keep your audiobooks in OneDrive and listen on your phone without copying them over first. Nightjar works with your own Microsoft account and plays the books where they are.

How it works

Add OneDrive in Nightjar’s Sources and sign in on Microsoft’s own sign-in page. OneDrive gives Nightjar a folder of its own — My files › Apps › Nightjar — and nothing else: put your books there, and Nightjar sees only that folder.

Starts in seconds, even for long books

Playback begins as soon as the first piece of the book arrives, whether it runs one hour or twenty. Jumping back or skipping ahead fetches just that spot, and what you have already heard stays on the phone — you never wait for a full download.

Offline for the flight

Download a book from its menu to listen without a connection. Remove the download later and the book stays in your library, streaming again when you play it.

Built for long listens

Chapters and bookmarks, playback speed, a sleep timer that can stop at the end of the chapter, and a remembered position in every book — with lock-screen and headphone controls.

Your account stays yours

The Microsoft sign-in is kept in your device’s secure storage, and books go straight from OneDrive to your phone. Nightjar runs no server and never sees your library.

Part of Nightjar Pro

Cloud and network sources are part of Nightjar Pro: a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, with a 7-day trial. Playing files from the phone itself, every way of importing them and Wi-Fi transfer are free.

OneDrive is a trademark of the Microsoft group of companies. Nightjar is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
